Meet Chickie Tails

Chickie Tails has been a space for Bridget to share her love of making with the community. On Instagram, @chickietails shares her processes and final pieces. Through sharing, Bridget has developed special relationships with others through her work. 

Chickie Tails loves textiles and fiber arts and is inspired in all that she sees in the world! Bridget has a background in teaching, and is ready to share her love of making through classes and workshops in her at home studio. 

When she is not spending time with her husband and three children, Bridget is happiest in her sewing room. Bridget has been sewing and quilting for over 20 years (much longer if you count her scrunchie career in fourth grade!). She has a love for color yet likes to channel her calm so she if often balancing these two pulls in her makes. She has sewn children’s clothing, staple garments for her own wardrobe, quilt coats, bags, baby items, tuffets, wall art and more. 

Chickie Tails rarely knows exactly which project will be next, but if she sees something she likes and thinks she can do, you can count on her researching up a storm, acquiring all the supplies and then pretty much nailing it when she puts her mind to it. A project might be in her queue for a couple years, but she prides herself in timely project completion once she gets started. Other crafts that Bridget enjoys are frame loom weaving, fabric weaving, bargello, needlepoint, bedazzling, ice dyeing and more. 

Chickie Tails designed classes based on projects she loved making or would like to have taken herself. She knows that there are so many creatives out there who want to “make all the things” but need the carved out time, guidance, supplies, and that extra little push to get going. Many of these classes are inspired by fiber arts, and she has tailored them to make them approachable for all. These classes are designed for you to put your own spin on all projects offered, or the class can be more structured if that is your desired preference for making. She wants you to be given the opportunity to try something new without being intimidated by your skillset. 

All types of creatives and noncreative are encouraged to register for a Chickie Tails Class or Workshop! If you have the interest, Chickie Tails will work with you to get you to complete a project of your own!
